- Can I dial into Castle Web to get access to the web?
Castle Web is a web presence provider. We are not an Internet access provider. We do not offer dial-up access to the web. All of our bandwidth is devoted to delivering our customers' content to the Web.
- Can I host a web site that I promote via unsolicited commercial e-mail?
No. Anything related to UCE (a.k.a. spam) is expressly prohibited. If you spam or reference a Castle Web hosted site in a spam, your site will be immediately terminated without notice and you will no longer be a Castle Web customer.
- Can I send e-mail through Castle Web?
No. Castle Web does not permit e-mail relay through its mail server to prevent it from being used to deliver spam. Customers can use Castle Web mail servers if they enable authenticated SMTP. Otherwise, you will need to use your Internet access provider's mail server to send your e-mail.
- Can I run my own CGI programs?
All CGI programs must be provided to Castle Web at the source code level before installation on our servers. This requirement protects all customers from poorly written programs that might cause problems with the web servers.
- Can I give space within my web site to someone else?
No. Reselling of space within Castle Web is not permitted.
- Will you help me get my domain name?
Yes. Castle Web will help you register your domain name, but you will be responsible for paying the domain registration fees and renewing your domain.
